Return policy

If you are unhappy with your purchase from Ahiama, you may qualify for a return by adhering to the straightforward guidelines outlined in our Return Policy.

1. How can I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

I. Access your Ahiama account on Ahiama.com or through the app to request a refund. If you do not have an account, click on "Save your Order" in the email confirmation of your Ahiama order to proceed with the return.

II. Locate the relevant order in the "Your Orders" section and click on the "Return/Refund" button.

III. Choose the items you wish to return and specify the reason for the return. Depending on your selected reason, you may need to provide additional information regarding the order. Once you have entered the necessary details, click the "Next Step" button to continue.

IV. If you do not need to return any items, your final step is to select your preferred refund method. You can opt for a Ahiama credit balance or a refund to your original payment method. Make your choice and click "Submit."

V. If you need to return items, you will be given options for your return and refund methods. After submitting your request, we will send you a return label for the items. Return shipping is free for your first return of one or more eligible items for every order within 7 days of purchase, with some exceptions.

VI. Please put all returned items into a single package and utilize the return label provided. Ensure that the original barcode/ Order ID for each item is included.

If you cannot locate the barcod/Order IDe:

Please use transparent bags to individually package items lacking barcodes before placing them in the return package. Once the seller receives the items and they pass the quality inspection, your refund will be processed. If you do not receive your refund afterward, please reach out to us for further assistance. Remember to retain the barcode/Order ID of each item for your next purchase to ensure a smooth refund process.

VII. Please place all the items to be returned in one package, please print or write boldly and sellotape the return label we provided onto the outside of the package. Send your package back to the seller through the same delivery agent that deliveried it to you and you're done!

VIII. You can check the refund status of your items on your order details page on Ahiama mobile App or website or through Ahiama’s SMS/Email/Push notifications.

Please make sure your return package is postmarked within 3 days after you submit your return, otherwise the return process will be terminated. The return label we provide only works if you are shipping within Nigeria.

2. Is the return shipping free?

Return shipping is free on your first return of one or multiple returnable items for EVERY order within the return window.

When you apply for a return, you may be offered the opportunity to get a partial refund without returning the item(s). If you accept this offer, one free return will automatically be deducted from the number of free returns you have for this order.

If you have already returned items from an order and would like to return additional items from that same order, you can still do so as long as the return window has not closed.

We recommend that you try to send back your return items in one shipment to avoid paying additional fees.

For the second and subsequent refunds from the same order, you can use the return label we provide and pay for the shipping fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

3. How long do I have before making a return?

You can return items within 7 days of purchase, with some exceptions:

Items that can't be returned:

Ø Clothing items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery, or have had their tags or hygiene stickers removed.

Ø Grocery and food products.

Ø Some health and personal care items.

Ø Some free gifts.

Ø Some customized products.

If an item is eligible for a return and refund, you may return it within the return window. You must send your return package back within 3 days of submitting your return request. You cannot return items after the return window has closed.

5. Important Notice 

I. The address listed on your package is NOT the return address you should utilize. Sending your return to any other address apart from the address of the delivery agent may result in delays in processing your return. Please ensure that you send the return package to the address indicated on the return label included with your purchase through the delivery agent. 

II. It is essential to ensure that you do NOT unintentionally include any items in your return package that you do not intend to return. If you mistakenly include an incorrect item, please reach out to Customer Service. We cannot guarantee that misplaced items will be located and returned, and we do not hold or issue refunds or compensation for such items.
